St Michael’s Lodge Donates £1,000 to Bowland Pennine Mountain Rescue Team

The Bowland and Pennine Mountain Rescue Team were delighted to receive a generous donation from St Michael’s on Wyre lodge recently of £1000.00.

The charity receives no funding other than charitable donations from individuals and local groups and with running costs in excess of £40,000 p.a. and dealing with 40 to 50 call outs each year, every penny is gratefully received.

After the presentation we were given a very interesting tour of the base and explanation of so many different aspects of the BPMRT work.
