St Michael’s on Wyre Freemasons

What is Freemasonry all about – and why YOU should join!

Freemasonry is one of the world’s oldest and largest non-political, fraternal and charitable organisations. It is unlike any other institution in that it offers experiences not found elsewhere.

It supports self-development and promotes family and community values. It offers opportunities for public service and hands-on involvement in charitable and community issues.

Its values are based on integrity, friendship, respect and service. Members are urged to regard the interests of the family as paramount. However, Freemasonry also teaches and practises concern for people, care for the less fortunate and help for those in need.

In today’s world filled with uncertainty these principles ring as true as they have at any point in the organisation’s history.
